Grand Entry at the International Door Expo in Las Vegas

We just got back from Las Vegas where our team attended the International Door Expo. It is one of the biggest events in the garage door industry - dealers, manufacturers, and installers from all over the world in one place. We go because staying current on what is available is how we keep bringing better options to our customers in Grand County.

The Haas Door booth was a highlight. We spent time going through their door lines - from their insulated aluminum series to their modern flush panel designs - and came away with some strong options we are excited to offer locally. Their side-by-side thermal performance displays make it easy to understand why insulation specs matter, and their wind load and impact door comparisons show just how much construction difference there is between a basic door and one built to handle serious conditions.

We also got a close look at operator technology from LiftMaster and Genie, including commercial-grade motor setups and bracket systems built for heavy-use applications. And the spring displays were something we do not see every day - different spring types and configurations laid out in detail, which is useful for understanding what goes into a proper spring replacement and why quality components matter on every install.

There was a lot of ground covered over those few days. New products, new ideas, and a much clearer picture of what we want to bring back to Grand County. Stay tuned - there are some good things coming.
